Privacy Policy
Last updated: 12 October 2026
This privacy policy explains how we process the personal data of people who visit the veruscoach.pl website and of people who join the VerusCoach waitlist through it.
01Data controller
The controller of your personal data is Damian Kozieł, a natural person operating the VerusCoach project.
Contact for matters relating to personal data: kontakt@veruscoach.pl
The controller has not appointed a Data Protection Officer. For all matters relating to the processing of personal data, you may contact us directly at the email address above.
02What data we process
Mandatory data (required to join):
- first name,
- email address,
- professional specialization (e.g. personal trainer, strength & conditioning coach, physiotherapist).
Data provided voluntarily (optional):
- number of clients you work with per week,
- tools you currently use,
- the city or town where you work,
- where you look for knowledge when you get a hard case,
- a description of your frustrations or needs related to creating training and rehabilitation plans,
- consent to take part in a conversation about your needs.
Data about your visit to the website (statistics):
- the page you visit and the page you came from (for example Instagram or LinkedIn),
- device type, browser, operating system, language and country,
- clicks on the sign-up buttons and the fact that a sign-up worked (without your name or email address).
We collect statistics with Umami. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of a specific person. Your IP address is used only during the visit, for example to find the country, and the provider says it is not stored.
We do not collect any health data or other special categories of data within the meaning of Article 9 GDPR through the waitlist form.
03Purposes and legal bases of processing
Providing the mandatory data is voluntary but necessary to join the waitlist. Providing the optional data is entirely voluntary and does not affect your sign-up.
04Data retention period
We retain your data until:
- the launch of the VerusCoach product and the completion of related communication activities, or
- your earlier withdrawal of consent.
We keep website statistics in aggregated form, which does not identify any specific person, for no longer than the website is online.
After consent is withdrawn, the data will be deleted without undue delay, unless its further retention is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
05Data recipients
To operate the waitlist we use an external service provider (a processor) that processes data solely on our instructions:
- Supabase, Inc. - provider of the database infrastructure in which the form data is stored. The data is physically stored on servers in the European Union (eu-central-1 region, Frankfurt, Germany). Supabase, Inc. is an entity established in the United States, which means that access to the data by the provider may involve a transfer of data outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers take place on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
When you open the website, your browser also connects to technical service providers. For this, they receive your IP address and basic technical data about your browser:
- the website hosting provider - keeps the site on its servers and may keep technical server logs,
- Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.) - provides the fonts used on the site,
- jsDelivr - provides the software library that runs the sign-up form,
- Umami Software, Inc. (USA) - provider of the Umami Cloud statistics tool, which processes visit data only on our instructions.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
06Transfers outside the EEA
As stated in section 05, our infrastructure provider (Supabase, Inc.) and our statistics provider (Umami Software, Inc.) are based in the United States, so access to the data from the United States is possible. Any such transfer takes place with appropriate safeguards referred to in Article 46 GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses). You may obtain a copy of the safeguards applied by contacting kontakt@veruscoach.pl.
07Your rights
In connection with the processing of your data, you have the following rights:
- the right of access to your data (Art. 15 GDPR),
- the right to rectification of your data (Art. 16 GDPR),
- the right to erasure of your data (Art. 17 GDPR),
- the right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR),
- the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR),
- the right to object to processing based on legitimate interest, including the collection of website statistics (Art. 21 GDPR),
- the right to withdraw consent at any time - withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal (Art. 7(3) GDPR),
- the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority - the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland).
To exercise any of the above rights, contact kontakt@veruscoach.pl. We will respond without undue delay and no later than within one month of receiving your request.
08Automated decision-making
Your data is not used for automated decision-making, including profiling.
09Cookies
The website does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not store any data in your browser for statistics or marketing. For website statistics we use Umami, which works without cookies and without storing any identifiers on your device. That is why we do not show a cookie consent notice. The hosting provider may use technical cookies that are needed for security and for the site to work properly. Such cookies do not require consent. If you do not want your visit to be counted, you can block the Umami script in your browser (for example with an ad blocker) or object by email at the address in section 01.
10Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy. We will inform people on the waitlist of any material changes by email. The current version is always available at veruscoach.pl/privacy-policy.
