Wherever you work

Expert-level training and rehab plans. With reasons and sources.

You enter your client's data and VerusCoach builds a training or rehab plan: weeks, sessions, sets, tempo, rest. Every decision comes with an explanation and a link to the research. You check it, change it and approve it. And along the way, you see why the plan looks the way it does.

Mission

A coach in a small town deserves the same knowledge as a coach in Doha.

A coach in a big sports center works next to physios, goes to conferences and takes courses. A coach in a small town often works alone, and the nearest place like that is a hundred kilometers away.

VerusCoach gives both of them the same starting point: a plan based on guidelines and research, with an explanation for every decision and a source you can open yourself.

You do what the system can't: you judge the plan for the person you know from the gym floor. And with every plan, you understand better why it is built this way.

02 - Solution

VerusCoach solves this with structure, not promises.

It is an expert system, not a chat. Every plan does three things at once.

- Pillar 01

An expert plan

The kind an experienced specialist would write: weeks, sessions, exercises with sets, reps, tempo, rest and progression. Fitted to the goal, level, equipment and health history of this one person. 27 training goals and 44 rehab protocols.

- Pillar 03

Safety first

When there is a health problem, rehab comes before training. Phases change when the client meets the criteria, not by the calendar. With red flags, no plan is made, and the system tells you who to refer the client to.

Safety net

If your client has a health problem, the system knows what to change

Most of your clients are healthy. But it takes just one with high blood pressure, diabetes or a knee surgery, and a standard plan can do harm.

🫀

Cardiology

High blood pressure, beta-blockers → intensity by RPE, not heart rate; with heart disease, a doctor's OK

⚗️

Endocrinology

Diabetes, thyroid, PCOS → changes to timing and volume

🦴

Orthopedics

44 protocols in 10 body areas → phases by criteria, not by calendar

💊

Pharmacology

Corticosteroids, anticoagulants, NSAIDs → training limits

🧬

Rheumatology

RA, ankylosing spondylitis → changes during flare-ups

🫁

Pulmonology

Asthma, COPD → control of cardio intensity

🧠

Neurology

Epilepsy, neuropathies → lower fall risk

🩺

Sports medicine

Red flags → no plan is made, the system shows who to refer to

When no plan is made

Football player, 15 years old, groin pain. No one has ruled out an apophysis injury (growth plate at the tendon attachment). At this age it is a common cause of pain, and a normal rehab plan could make it worse. The system will not make a plan until this is ruled out, and it tells you who to refer the player to. It works the same way with other red flags from the interview. We would rather give no plan than a bad one.

Rehab protocols are in clinical validation with Collegium Medicum, Jan Kochanowski University. The knowledge base keeps growing with more fields that affect training and rehab.
03 - How it works

Three steps. No training course needed.

01

You enter the client profile

Training goal, level, available equipment, injury history. If the client has a chronic condition or takes medication, you enter it once and the system remembers it for every plan.

02

The system checks and builds the plan

It checks red flags, contraindications and how medication affects training. When there is a health problem, it uses a rehab protocol. The result: weeks, sessions, sets, RPE, tempo, rest, plus a reason for every decision with a link to the research.

03

You review it and coach your client

You review the plan and change what you think is right. You get separate notes for yourself and simple instructions for the client. You open the plan on your phone during the session or export it to PDF and Excel. Something changes during the block: pain, missed sessions, no progress? You edit the plan or ask Verus for options. You always have the last word.

From the first interview to a ready plan: minutes, not an evening in Excel.

In person or online - no difference

Open the plan on your phone on the gym floor, send a PDF to an online client or print it. VerusCoach does not make you change the way you work.

What it covers and what it does not

VerusCoach does one thing: training and rehab. Nutrition, supplements and billing stay in your own tools. If you offer full coaching, VerusCoach takes care of the part that takes the most time: planning.

A plan that teaches

Every plan teaches you something

A plan without reasons is a template to copy. A plan with reasons is knowledge you take to your next client. That is why every plan has an education part: why these exercises, this dose and this order, with links to the research.

Why do we accept some pain during exercise for a tendon, but look at swelling more than the pain scale for a joint after surgery? Why does a rehab phase change when criteria are met, and not after a set number of weeks? The system explains this in the language of a specialist and shows where it comes from.

You also get separate notes for yourself and simple instructions for the client. With every plan, you understand the rules better, not just the result.

From the education part

Achilles tendinopathy, phase 2

Pain as a guide, not a ban. Some pain during exercise is OK, but it must stay below 5/10, and the next morning it must not be worse than before the session. People who kept training with this kind of pain monitoring got better just like those who rested.
Silbernagel et al. 2007, RCT ↗
Isometrics yes, but no promises. They are in the plan because they let you load the tendon when irritability is high. We do not promise they will reduce pain: a meta-analysis did not show they work better than normal resistance exercise.
Clifford et al. 2020, meta-analysis ↗
Criteria, not the calendar. The client moves to phase 3 after meeting the protocol criteria (for example pain and the 24-hour response, load tolerance), not after a set number of weeks. Current guidelines advise a load as high as the client can tolerate.

Week 3: your client's knee hurts. What now?

The real work of a coach starts when the plan meets real life: missed sessions, discomfort, no progress. That is what Verus is for. It knows the plan, the client profile and every decision the system made. You ask from your phone during the session and get options with reasons. You fix the plan, you do not start from zero.

It does not make new plans. It does not diagnose. It explains, questions and suggests options, in the language you work in.

My client felt knee discomfort during lunges
Swap to a step-up with eccentric control (3-0-1-0). Less shear in the joint, and range of motion is easier to dose. If the discomfort lasts more than 2 sessions, refer to a physio. It may be joint reactivity after the ACL surgery.
My client came to 4 of 8 sessions this month. Keep the progression or step back?
With ~50% attendance, do not increase the load. Adaptation cannot keep up with the plan. Repeat week 3 at RPE 6 instead of 7 and cut 1 set from the accessories. When attendance is back for 2 weeks, go back to the week 4 progression.
Why RFESS instead of a back squat?
The ACL surgery was 4 years ago, so a back squat is not contraindicated. But RFESS gives better valgus control and works with lighter external loads (less stress on the spine). With high blood pressure there is one more plus: lighter weights mean less urge to hold the breath (Valsalva). If you want to go back to bilateral work, start with a goblet squat in week 5.
04 - Why not ChatGPT

Why VerusCoach and not ChatGPT?

Because a text generator is not the same as an expert system. Three differences that decide your client's safety and your reputation.

01

Rules that cannot be skipped

The orthopedic surgeon said no jumping? Every exercise with a flight phase is out of the plan. A 15-year-old with groin pain and no apophysis injury ruled out? No plan is made. A client on a beta-blocker? Intensity by RPE, not heart rate. In a general AI chat, if you leave out one sentence in your prompt, you get a plan that ignores the problem.

02

Every decision has a source

General AI learns from everything, from research papers to bodybuilding forums. VerusCoach works on a controlled knowledge base: guidelines, research and protocols, with the strength of evidence marked. In the plan you see what each decision is based on, and you can check the source.

03

It speaks your language and keeps teaching

It does not explain what RPE or a 3-1-X-0 tempo is. It assumes you know, and goes one step further: it explains why this choice was made for this case. You save time, and your client gets an expert plan.

We do not want to replace coaches or physios. We want to give you a tool that did not exist until now.

06 - FAQ

Questions that may be holding you back

No. VerusCoach does not work without you. You enter the client data, review the plan and approve it before the client sees it. The specialist is always responsible for the clinical decision. VerusCoach takes over writing the plan, not your expertise. The client still comes to you, because you are the one who coaches them.
You are, as the specialist who approved the plan and used it with the client, the same as in any work with the human body. That is why every plan goes through your review. VerusCoach lowers the risk at the system level: red flags, contraindications, the effect of medication on training and the priority of rehab are all checked before you see the plan. But the final decision is always yours.
Today: training - 27 goals (including fat loss, muscle gain, strength, power, conditioning) and rehab - 44 protocols in 10 body areas: knee, hip, thigh, ankle, shoulder, elbow, wrist, and the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. If you work in an area that is missing, join the list and tell us. It helps us decide what to build next.
No, and we do not pretend it does. We do not give certificates. VerusCoach gives you access to the same knowledge that specialists in big centers use: every plan explains its decisions and shows its sources. You learn while working on real cases, and if something interests you, you open the source and read more.
Then no plan is made. Instead, you see what worried the system (for example a red flag from the interview, or a more serious injury that has not been ruled out) and a tip on who to refer the client to. When the problem is cleared, you update the data and make the plan. We would rather give no plan than a bad one.
We are setting the price based on talks with people on the waitlist. For now we can promise three things: (1) the plan for individual specialists will cost less per month than one hour of training with a client, (2) people on the list get a special launch price, (3) we do not plan to charge per client.
No. There is an AI model under the hood, but it does not make up the rules. Volume, intensity, exercise choice and what to leave out all come from rules written in the clinical knowledge base. For example: if the client takes a beta-blocker, the system sets intensity by RPE, not by heart rate zones. If you enter "no jumping", plyometrics will not go into the plan, no matter how well they fit the goal. A general AI chat does not know these rules, and even when you put them in the prompt, there is no guarantee it will follow them.
No. VerusCoach is a tool for your work. The client does not need to install anything, sign up or pay. You use the plan the way you do now: export to PDF or Excel, print it, or run the session from your phone or laptop screen.
No, and we do not plan to pretend it does. Nutrition is a separate skill with its own legal responsibility. VerusCoach handles training and rehab, the part of planning that takes the most time. You handle nutrition and supplements the way you do now, in your own tools.
On guidelines (including NSCA, ACSM and clinical guidelines for orthopedic and injury rehab), research and rehab protocols. Every rule has a source and a marked strength of evidence, so you can see what is well documented and what is expert consensus. The rehab protocols are in clinical validation together with Collegium Medicum, Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce, Poland.
